  • Above and Beyond – Daloa, Ivory Coast – Final Day

    Daloa-Ivory-Coast-17-MD4-9526-Panorama

    Dear Mission Partners,

The final meeting of our Gospel Crusade in Daloa, Ivory Coast, has come to a glorious conclusion just a few minutes ago. It was above and beyond all expectation. Rather than writing a lengthy report, I recorded this message for you from the field. I’m sure you will be so blessed: https://youtu.be/TqFrZeAiHho

Also, I’ve included a fantastic shot of tonight’s crowd. On the way to the meeting, we noticed the convoy had taken a different route. We soon saw that it was because the authorities had shut down the road next to the crusade field in both directions, blocking it off so that the crowd could overflow into it. It was like Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Once again, Jesus has done all things well. Thank you for praying for us. I will send the decision card count once it is in.

    Yours in the Gospel,

  • One of the Most Precious Moments of My Life – Daloa, Ivory Coast – Day 3

    Daloa-Ivory-Coast-17-MD3-0284-Panorama

    Dear Mission Partners,

I don’t even want to try to describe the atmosphere tonight. Words just don’t suffice. Even this video doesn’t do it justice, but you really should take a minute to watch this short clip that I recorded from my cell phone while standing on the platform after praying for the sick and praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. If this is not “joy unspeakable and full of glory” then I don’t know what is:

    https://youtu.be/BozqqXWUgns

Standing there on the platform, in this atmosphere, miracles were happening everywhere. The crowd was heaving with excitement and faith. Behind me stood a woman who had been crippled for 6 years after a botched neck surgery. Tonight, she along with several other cripples, were healed. We danced together and rejoiced. It was so beautiful.

Then a young lady came forward with tears streaming down her face. Her mother told me that she had been deaf since she was a small child. She was not able to go to school as a result, and her whole life was affected by it. Tonight, when I asked the people to raise their hands, she responded and lifted her hands. Her mother was shocked. She said, “Did you understand?” and the girl answered her mother for the first time in many years. “Yes…I can hear.” She embraced me tightly as she wept; then her momma came in for a group hug. I can honestly say it was one of the most precious moments of my life.

She was not the only deaf person that was healed. A 25-year-old man, who was deaf from birth in his right ear, said that as I was praying, he physically felt a finger enter his ear. Then suddenly his ear exploded with sound.

There were many more testimonies. Too many to convey and too many to hear. God is shaking this city mightily. Daloa will never be the same.

Despite some threats on the field tonight, we persisted. God protected us and showed up, as you can see for yourself in my video.

Thank you for praying. Tomorrow is the last day. Please continue to cover us.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

  • Showers of Blessings – Daloa, Ivory Coast – Day 2

    Daloa-Ivory-Coast-17-MD2-1

    Dear Mission Partners,

Our Fire Conference started this morning at 6:00 AM – before the sun had risen! We are amazed by the hunger of these pastors and leaders, who would come out so early, many of them walking for miles to reach the site. They are hungry for the Word of God and for a touch from Heaven. Peter Vandenberg and Pastor Tyrone Gray ministered in power, and the pastors were very blessed. Tomorrow, we will lay hands on them and pray for them to receive the baptism into the Holy Spirit. This is always one of the highlights of the week for us.

Tonight, several hours before the meeting started, the rain began to pour. It soaked the field, turning it into mud. We wondered how the people would respond. To our surprise, the crowd actually grew significantly over last night. I preached about the power of the blood of Jesus and asked Pastor Gray to help me pray for the sick and break the curses. Many wonderful miracles took place.

A woman had a tumor in her stomach that was painful and protruding. She had lost three pregnancies and believes it was due to the tumor. So she went to the witch-doctor for help. He gave her a charm to wear around her waist, but her condition had not changed. Tonight, during the prayer for the sick, the tumor vanished! She told me her story on the platform and said that she wanted to remove that charm she had received from the witch-doctor. Right there in front of the crowd, she removed it and gave glory to God!

A woman, whose leg was swollen several times the normal size for three years, said that suddenly, during the prayer, the swelling went down. Her leg was completely normal.

An old woman who had been deaf for three months was healed.

A man who could not walk for the last 6 years was healed.

There were many other testimonies as well…too many to mention.

Please keep us in your prayers. The best is yet to come!

    Blessings,

    Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

  • Many Challenges and Great Victories – Daloa, Ivory Coast – Day 1

    Daloa-Ivory-Coast-17-MD1-0189-Panorama

    Dear Mission Partners,

The first night of our Gospel Campaign here in Daloa, Ivory Coast has just ended. The atmosphere was electric. The devil has tried hard to keep this crusade from happening – a great indicator that we are about to witness a mighty harvest here. Despite many obstacles we have had to overcome here, something extraordinary is taking place.

On the road, en route from the last crusade site, our technicians ran into difficulties at the Ivory Coast border. They sat for six days waiting for clearance. Last Friday, they still had not been released. The border control office closed for the weekend at 5 PM and wouldn’t open again until Monday. 5:00 came, and they still had not received their paperwork. This meant that they would not arrive in Daloa on time. The crusade was in jeopardy. Ten minutes after 5:00 the paperwork arrived and although the office was technically closed, they were miraculously allowed to cross the border.

When they arrived in Daloa, there was another problem. A dispute was taking place among the family members that owned the field where our crusade was to be held. The outcome was that, despite a previous agreement, they would not allow us to the use the ground! This presented a huge challenge. Where else could we meet? All the posters, banners, TV and radio spots were advertising that location. Finally, a new field was found, but there was another problem.

The field was far from ideal. Parts of it were covered in garbage piled more than 10-feet high! Our amazing team, led by Winfried Wentland, went to work. They used three front-end loaders to fill and haul away nine trucks of garbage to the municipal dump. It took two days just to clear the field! But it was ready just in time.

Despite the many challenges, and push back we have received from all sides, when we arrived on the field tonight it was packed! Just have a look at the pictures! After I preached the Gospel and prayed for the sick, we heard wonderful testimonies.

A boy born deaf, who had never spoken or heard, began to hear! He must now learn to speak, but he responded to his Father’s voice for the first time in his life!

A woman, who had been in an accident 7 years ago and ended up trapped under the vehicle, had been crippled ever since. Tonight, Jesus healed her. She danced with me and shouted for joy! What a glorious miracle.

Another cripple, an old man who had not been able to walk for eight years, was so healed tonight that he jumped, and kicked, and danced on the platform. You could never tell that he had been crippled just minutes earlier!

Jesus is alive and well here in Daloa. This is just the beginning!

There is one more small challenge I should share with you. This morning, after our first session of the Fire Conference had concluded, we received a message from the governor that our meetings, which are apparently in close proximity to the government offices, are too loud and must be concluded by 8:00 AM going forward! That means we will start preaching tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM – before the sun has come out! This will be a new experience for us, but nothing will stop what God is doing here.

Please pray for us, for our team and for the people of Daloa as we press through every obstacle and look for a historic harvest to take place over the next few days.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

  • Power in the Airwaves – Tamale, Ghana – Final Day

    Tamale-Ghana-17-MD4-7495-Pano

    Dear Mission Partners,

I’ve just returned from the field on this final night of our Gospel campaign here in Tamale, Ghana. The crowd more than doubled tonight! It was a huge breakthrough. Behind the platform, more than 35,000 people stood in the darkness. These were mostly Muslims who had come to the meeting despite the prohibition of local Imams. When I gave the invitation to receive Jesus, thousands of them lifted their hands and prayed with me. Heaven is rejoicing tonight and Tamale will never be the same again.

After the prayer for the sick, we heard wonderful testimonies.

An old Muslim lady who could not walk and who also had severe pain in her leg and shoulder, was listening to the radio last night. When I prayed for the sick, she put her hand on her body in faith and Jesus touched her. Tonight, she could walk perfectly and gave the glory to Jesus. We have no way of knowing how many people were reached this week through the live daily radio broadcasts, but I am sure that the power of God went out through the airwaves!

Last night, I had a word of knowledge about someone whose sinuses were blocked by a growth. Tonight, a British lady came and testified that she had not been able to breathe through her nose due to an obstruction in her sinuses since she was 7 years old. After the prayer for the sick, her sinuses opened up and she can now breathe through her nose for the first time since she was a child.

A woman who, was crippled for the last three years, walked tonight! A man with severe pain in his leg said that it instantly vanished. A woman with a painful infection in her breast, thought to be cancerous, said that during the prayer she felt the infection leave and all pain is now gone. When I asked how many had received a miracle over the course of the week, literally thousands of people waved their arms enthusiastically!

This week was filled with many challenges and obstacles, but the Lord gave us victory after victory. Thank you for standing with us so faithfully in prayer. We are shoulder-to-shoulder in this harvest.

We now set our sights on Ivory Coast where our next campaign takes place in March. I will report back on the registered decision cards as soon as the count is in.

    Yours in the Harvest,

    Daniel Kolenda

  • FIRE! – Tamale, Ghana – Day 3

    Tamale-Ghana-17-MD3-7424-Pano

    Dear Mission Partners,

I am just overwhelmed by the goodness of God as I write this. Today, he answered by Fire as we prayed for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit here in Tamale, Ghana. This morning, pastors and leaders were getting absolutely rocked by the glory of God. There was a profound awareness of the presence of God and many were filled to overflowing. Tonight, once again, the Holy Spirit fell on the huge field after we prayed. In addition to those who received the baptism into the Holy Spirit, many other wonderful miracles took place.

    • A woman who could not walk for 7 years because of a spinal cord injury was totally healed. We danced together on the platform!
    • A young lady who was blind in her left eye, was totally healed!
    • An old woman, paralyzed from a stroke, had not been able to walk or even sit properly for the past 10 years. Tonight Jesus healed her.

And the most glorious miracle of all were the many thousands that made a decision to surrender their lives to Jesus tonight. This is always the greatest testimony, but in this place where more than 80% of the population is non-Christian, it is especially profound. As I look out across the crowd, I can see many people who belong to these other religions and yet they are listening and receiving Christ. We even heard that the local leaders of the dominant religion in the region have instructed their people not to come to our meetings. Yet, despite their opposition we are seeing tremendous fruit.

Tomorrow, is the final night of this Gospel Crusade. Please pray that the city would be shaken by the power of God.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Daniel Kolenda

  • Power in the Blood – Tamale, Ghana – Day 2

    Tamale-Ghana-17-MD2-03282-Pano

    Dear Mission Partners,

We have just come from the field on night 2 of our Gospel Campaign here in Tamale, Ghana. Tonight, I preached on the blood of Jesus. Thousands came into the Kingdom of God. We also saw how many demoniacs began to manifest as soon as I started talking about the blood of Jesus. Shrieks and cries could be heard all over the field. One woman that just a few feet in front of me began to manifest as I was preaching. In the end, we saw wonderful miracles of deliverance and healing. During the prayer for the sick, I had a word of knowledge about someone with a growth in their nose. A woman came forward and said that for six years she had a growth in her nose that caused a variety of terrible problems. Tonight, Jesus touched her and healed her. Many people said that they had been healed of paralysis as a result of strokes. There is great joy in this region because of what Jesus is doing.

This morning, Peter Vandenberg and Rev. Charles Ciepiel ministered to the pastors and leaders. Charles also led the congregation in a powerful time of worship tonight. Tomorrow, is the final day of Fire Conference meetings. Please pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit tomorrow morning. Please also join us in praying for a real breakthrough here. While we are seeing some wonderful miracles, I feel like there is so much more for this region. I believe there is a spiritual battle being waged over this city and we need God’s people to bombard heaven for the breakthrough.

    Thank you for praying,

  • 30 Years Later - Tamale, Ghana - Day 1

    Tamale-Ghana-17-MD1-03282-Pano

    Dear Mission Partners,

Greetings from the city of Tamale in Ghana, West Africa. Our Gospel Crusade began this morning with the Fire Conference, and the evangelistic service tonight. The last time Christ for all Nations was in Tamale was 30 years ago this week. In fact, it was in this city that we first started counting decision cards and keeping track of the new converts that were being ushered into the follow up system in 1987. 30 years and 76 million salvations later, we are back in this wonderful city and full of expectation for what God will do this week.

Tonight after I preached the gospel and prayed for the sick, we heard wonderful testimonies.

    • A man whose left arm had been left paralyzed from a stroke in 2015 was healed tonight.
    • A 28-year-old man, who was deaf in the left ear from birth, said that as I started to pray over the crowd that he felt fire come on his ear from the very first shout, and suddenly realized he could hear. I tested him on the platform and verified this mighty miracle!
    • An elderly Muslim woman who could not walk for 6 years, was healed tonight.

He was deaf in the left ear since birth, he is 28 years old. He can hear now. Daniel tests him on stage and the man repeats every word. He was deaf in the left ear since birth, he is 28 years old. He can hear now. Daniel tests him on stage and the man repeats every word.

The woman was bitten by a dog and couldn't walk properly. She is fine now and can even dance on the platform The woman was bitten by a dog and couldn't walk properly. She is fine now and can even dance on the platform

We are in a region where, according to the locals, more than 80 percent of the population is not Christian. Tonight, we could see that this was true. Many people of other religions attended the meeting, and many of them experienced the power of God. I am sure that after this week Tamale will be changed forever.

Please make it a point to set some time aside to pray for us and for the meetings here this week. May Jesus be lifted up over this region as never before.

  • Breaking Ground – Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso – Final Day

    Burkina-Faso-Bobo-Day-4

    Dear Mission Partners,

The final night of the last Gospel Campaign of the year has just come to a glorious conclusion. The field was packed tonight. When I asked how many were attending for the first time, it was the overwhelming majority! I met a lady who said that she had been listening by radio a couple nights ago. She had terrible pains in her chest for several days and thought she was going to die. When I was praying for the sick, she stretched out her hand in faith and touched the radio. Immediately, the power of God hit her and all the pain left. From that time, until now, she is completely well!

Sometimes we go to a region where it is obvious that the people are accustomed to church or even evangelistic meetings. In those settings, a campaign can feel like a big church service where everyone knows how to respond and behave. In other places, it is apparent that we are breaking new ground. Those settings can be a bit more challenging…but that is what we are built for! That was the case here in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. A huge number of those that attended were Muslims and Animists. Even many of the Christians seemed to be experiencing our hot Holy Spirit brand of ministry for the first time. In the beginning, they seemed to watch with cool curiosity – hesitant to participate and maybe even a bit skeptical. But as the week went on, a transformation took place. By the time the night was over tonight, it was like a Holy Spirit party. The massive crowd was overflowing with uninhibited joy. They were dancing, shouting and singing because of the great things they have seen, heard and experienced. The power of God blasted so many people and touched the whole region. I am sure that Bobo-Dioulasso will never be the same again!

Our next campaign is in January already. In the meantime, we are looking forward to a restful Christmas holiday season with our families. It is with great joy and thanksgiving that we look back on a year of remarkable harvest. The final statistics are not yet in, but I anticipate it will be close to 2-million people that have received Jesus over the last 12 months of Gospel Campaigns. It is a staggering thought. What an honor it is to bring the love of God to multitudes of people. We could not have done it without you. We are standing shoulder to shoulder with you in this harvest and we thank God for you.

So from all of us at Christ for all Nations – from Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, Peter Vandenberg and myself – we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year, filled with the blessings of God and the wonder of His love.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

  • Miracles in the Air! – Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso – Day 3

    Burkina-Faso-Bobo-Day-3

    Dear Mission Partners,

There is so much happening here in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso and so many interesting things to tell. This region is fascinating for its unique challenges on the one hand, and the remarkable miracles on the other. We are really working here. It’s not a smooth ride. But we are seeing breakthrough after breakthrough.

This region is very much steeped in witchcraft and superstition. The traditions of juju go back hundreds, perhaps even a thousand years. The fear of demonic spirits and witchcraft curses is embedded in the culture and psyche of the land. Various demon gods are worshipped and feared. One major river that flows through the land is said to be home to a certain demonic spirit which is believed to manifest as a big fish. As a result, fish are revered. Even if one dies and washes onto the shore, it receives a proper burial as a human would. Last night, after I preached on the blood of Jesus, I said that I would break the curses of the land. On my list was the name of this demon. Certain pastors on the platform pled with us not to say its name out loud because they were afraid that it would attack them. In fact, the very field where the crusade is taking place this week, is a well-known site where religious rituals and festivals take place to honor this “god.” Despite their request, I publicly named this demon and declared its power broken in Jesus name! It was a moment of great freedom and deliverance. Demonic manifestations took place all over the field. But most importantly the people (and even pastors) saw that we are not afraid of demonic powers. We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ!

These meetings are being broadcasted live on two radio stations in the area. This is very important because, despite the fact that multitudes are gathering on the field, the majority of the population is Muslim. Many of them would never be able or willing to attend a Christian event. But they can turn on their radios and listen to the Gospel as they sit in their homes. Many are responding and being saved and even healed! The radio station workers told us they are overwhelmed with calls from people who are being healed as they listen over the radio! Even the airwaves have been transformed into vehicles for the power of God. Miracles are in the air!

Last night, a man gave a testimony of being healed after 14 years of debilitating stomach pain. He said he had been to doctors in Burkina Faso and even in Paris, but no one had been able to heal him. Last night, during the prayer, all his pain left and he was totally healed. What I didn’t know is that he was also a Muslim and he did not get saved last night. But today he came back. His vehicle was filled with a huge collection of witchcraft fetishes. There was pottery and woodwork that had been put in his house to ward off evil spirits. He brought all of that stuff tonight and put it into our burn barrels. He wanted all that “juju” out of his life. Tonight, after I preached the Gospel, he prayed with me to receive Jesus. He told me tonight, “I am cleansed by the blood of Jesus!” It’s emotional to recall it even now.

Tonight, a little girl was brought forward who had not spoken in 6 years. She had contracted meningitis when she was 2-years old and had been mute ever since. Tonight, when we were praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, I asked the people to sing “Hallelujah.” Then I asked them to sing, “Thank you Jesus” to the same Hallelujah melody. The little girl’s mother told me that she suddenly noticed her daughter was singing, “Merci Jésus” (French for “Thank you Jesus”). She can now speak perfectly!

Many more miracles took place, but there is one more I must mention. The last testimony of the night was from a Muslim woman who had suffered with asthma and stomach pain for 15 years. She said that Jesus had healed her and that she was so happy. Right before she walked away, I noticed something – she was holding a little booklet in her hand. It was the “Now That You’re Saved” booklet that we give to all the new converts. I asked her if she had become a Christian tonight and she said yes. This is the greatest miracle of all and it is a miracle that is happening here in Bobo-Dioulasso by the multiplied thousands.

Tomorrow is the last day of this crusade and it will be the last crusade of the year. Please pray for one more massive harvest tomorrow night and a historic outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
