  • A Redemption Miracle – Tema-Ashaiman, Ghana Final Day

    tema day 4

    Dear Mission Partners,

I’m coming to you on the last night of the final meeting of our Gospel Campaign here in Tema – Ashaiman, Ghana where over 300,000 people flooded the field – a reclaimed garbage dump. There could not have been a more appropriate site for the redemption miracle that took place this week. Many thousands of people were saved, healed, delivered and baptized into the Holy Spirit. It reminds me of the verse that we read this morning in our team devotions from Romans 15:19, “ In mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God…I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.” This week, the “full-Gospel” package has been delivered, and the local leaders have told me that the region has been shaken.

Tonight, after preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick, we heard wonderful testimonies. One young lady said that she had been unable to turn her neck without pain and as a result her grandmother had made a little necklace for her to wear. This necklace was to be a “protection” from pain for her neck – a superstitious charm. Tonight, Jesus healed her completely! She asked me to cut the necklace off, which I did.

We also prayed for huge boxes of prayer requests tonight (many of which were sent in by many of you – our partners around the world). There, in that atmosphere of faith and miracles, 300,000 people lifted their voices and prayed over those requests. I am sure the Lord has heard and answered.

Before praying for the nation and pronouncing a blessing for the local believers (which I always do on the final night of a campaign like this), I asked a friend, Brian Guerin, who is a guest this week – a personal friend and a powerful prophetic minister – to share what he had seen prophetically for the region. He delivered a powerful word, and the people received it with joy. I am sure that Tema & Ashaiman will never be the same again.

Thank you for praying for us this week. We are already hard at work preparing the next crusade that will take place here in West Africa. Please continue to pray for us as we keep pressing forward, proclaiming the name of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

    Yours in the Gospel,

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda Together with Reinhard Bonnke, Peter Vandenberg and the whole CfaN team

  • Beauty for Ashes - Tema-Ashaiman, Ghana Day 3

    tema day 3

    Dear Mission Partners,

We experienced a wonderful outpouring of the Holy Spirit, both in the Fire Conference this morning and in the Gospel Crusade tonight here in Tema- Ashaiman, Ghana which was attended by 200,000 people! When you see the beautiful pictures of the massive crowd it’s easy to forget that we are meeting on a dumpsite. Just a few feet away they are burning trash, and goats are rummaging for food. It is truly “beauty for ashes.” We are surrounded by slums in one of the most dangerous parts of Ghana where even the police hesitate to go. I can’t say everything publicly, but there is one thing I can tell you – what is happening here is really extraordinary and significant for this region. We are making spiritual history here.

Tonight, after preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick, we heard wonderful miracle testimonies.

    · One blind man, who was led around by a little boy for years, was healed tonight. He could see perfectly!

    · As I was interviewing one person, the crowd began to erupt with cheers to the point that I could not hear the person I was talking to. I looked out and saw a man walking to the platform with his crutch held high. I invited him onto the platform and found that he had not been able to walk without this crutch for months, but Jesus healed him tonight!

    · A woman came with a fibroid, vision problems and pain all over her body. She left restored!

    · And many more…

I have been hearing of many other miracle testimonies that were never shared publicly. My driver is one. He was thrilled to share with me that he had been suffering with terrible pain in his neck for many years, but last night as I was praying for the sick, the pain vanished and has not returned. In fact, when I asked for a show of hands of those who have experienced a supernatural healing this week, literally thousands of hands went up! It reminds me of what the Scriptures say about the ministry of Jesus – that if everything was recorded, “…even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written (John 21:25).” Well, Jesus is still performing more miracles than we can count.

Tomorrow is the final meeting of this Gospel crusade, and we are anticipating one more huge harvest. Please continue to pray for us. The best is yet to come!

  • Curses Broken! - Tema-Ashaiman, Ghana Day 2

    Tema day 2

    Dear Mission Partners,

I have just returned from the crusade field here in Tema- Ashaiman, Ghana where 120,000 people were in attendance – and it’s only the second day (have a look at the attached picture)! I preached on the blood of Jesus before we saw the demonstration of that power – curses broken, sicknesses healed and many people delivered!

    • A woman who was paralyzed on the left side from a stroke, received a total healing!
    • A man who was hunched over, unable to walk upright without excruciating pain, was brought to the meeting tonight in a taxi. Jesus touched him. All pain left. He walked upright for the first time in over a year!
    • A young boy whose sickness left him paralyzed and partially blind was made perfectly well tonight. He walked on the platform without even a limp and said his vision had returned to normal. All sickness was gone! (see attached picture)
    • A woman who suffered from painful ulcers said that as we prayed yesterday, she felt a sensation like ice going through her body and suddenly all the pain was gone. She didn’t give her testimony yesterday because she wanted to wait and see if the pain would return, but for the first time in two years the pain did not return. Hallelujah!

This morning our Fire Conference continued to build momentum as Rev. Peter Vandenberg and Rev. Brian Guerin ministered powerful words to the pastors and church workers. They were greatly encouraged and very hungry. Tomorrow we will pray for them to receive the Baptism into the Holy Spirit and fire!

There are now only two more days of harvest ahead of us here. Thank you for continuing to pray for us earnestly. Many souls are in the balance.

  • It's Harvest Time - Tema-Ashaiman, Ghana Day 1

    Team, Ghana Day 1

    Dear Mission Partners,

Today our Gospel Crusade began here in Ghana, West Africa. There has been so much interest in the region that we have full working committees in two cities; Tema and Ashaiman. It’s almost like two crusades happening simultaneously. This is something we have never done before.

Our team has done such an outstanding job in preparing the crusade field in the middle of an overgrown city that has almost no options for a gathering of this size.

The field we are meeting on is literally a dumpsite with open sewage running through it, surrounded by slums. Our team brought in gravel to cover parts of the field where deep mud would make the swampy ground unusable.

When the ground was cleared, shacks had to be moved to make room. One family even gladly allowed their residence to be demolished so the crusade ground could be cleared. We gladly compensated them for their sacrifice. The outcome will be eternal fruit.

Our amazing team has overcome so many enormous obstacles! Any one of these would have stopped most people, yet they pushed through, and tonight, all of the hard work finally paid off when the opening meeting was attended by 90,000 people! Many thousands made decisions to follow Jesus tonight, and the IT department is already hard at work, as I write this, in putting the contact information of the new converts into our follow-up system database. It’s harvest time!

This morning the Fire Conference also began with Peter Vandenberg and Russell Benson ministering to pastors and church leaders. Both sessions were excellent, and I can already see that the impartation meeting on Saturday morning is going to be extraordinary.

Please continue to pray for us – we are just getting started. I expect something historic to take place this week. We covet your prayers.

    More to come.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Daniel Kolenda

  • Tears of Joy - Blantyre, Malawi - Final Day

    Dear Mission Partners,

The final meeting of our Gospel Campaign here in Blantyre, Malawi has just come to an end. There was such a rapport with the people here. When I said goodbye tonight, many had tears in their eyes. It is so easy to fall in love with these people. I’m sure we will all meet again one day before the throne of God.

As always, I preached a simple but clear Gospel message tonight. I urged the people to put their faith in Jesus and many thousands responded. Afterwards, I prayed for the sick. Wonderful miracles happened, including two women who wereinstantly healed from painful fibroids. One of them wept for joy as she experienced relief tonight for the first time in years. What a joy to be a witness to these wonders!

Now we set our sights on Tema, Ghana, where the next campaign will take place in just a few weeks. We have heard thrilling reports from the advance team and expect a massive harvest there. Thank you for praying for us here in Blantyre. We needed them very much, and I am sure your prayers made all the difference.

I will report back as soon as I get the count of decision cards.

  • Tumours Vanish! - Blantyre, Malawi - Day 3

    Dear Mission Partners,

It has been fascinating watching the momentum build each night here in Blantyre, Malawi. When we first arrived, you may remember that I said the attendance was very poor. We were also dealing with some negative publicity and other challenges. But now, everything has changed. For the second night in a row the attendance has nearly doubled. There is great excitement in throughout the city and everyone is talking about what Jesus is doing. I am sure your prayers have reached heaven and there is no stopping us now!

After I preached the Gospel tonight, thousands of people responded to the invitation. Peter van den Berg and I then prayed for the people to receive the baptism into the Holy Spirit, before praying for the sick. Wonderful miracles happened:

A woman dying from AIDS was carried to the meeting tonight. For 9 years she had been bedridden and extremely sick. Tonight, she was totally healed. She was walking, running and dancing. Her sister came with her to the platform as a witness and wept as she saw her sister running on the platform. It was a beautiful moment.

A man who fell out of a tree and injured his leg, was healed tonight. He walked without his crutch for the first time in 5 months.

A woman who had been deaf for 16 years, was healed.

Two women who had large tumors, saw them vanish after prayer! One lady literally said that before prayer she felt the tumor, and after prayer, it had disappeared. Amazing!

    ... And many more.

I also asked my friend and former apprentice, Eugen Krahn, to speak to the people tonight. He blessed the people and lifted up the name of Jesus. It’s a joy to have him and his wife Diana here with us.

Tomorrow is the final night of this Gospel Crusade. I believe that the field is going to be too small. Everything the enemy meant for evil, God will turn for our good. Please pray like never before.

  • The Crowd Doubled! – Blantyre, Malawi – Day 2

    Dear Mission Partners,

The second day of our Gospel Crusade here in Blantyre, Malawi has just come to an end. This morning Peter van den Berg and I preached to the pastors and church leaders. They sat in the cold rain to hear the messages – what hunger! I believe we are going to have a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit tomorrow as we lay hands on the delegates.

Tonight, the crowd doubled in size. Word has gone out that Jesus is doing wonderful things. I preached on the blood of Jesus and led thousands in a prayer for salvation. Then I took authority over every curse and broke them in Jesus’ name. We then burned drums full of witchcraft charms, fetishes, amulets and idols before praying for the sick!

A 90-year-old woman who was suffering with many illnesses, including painful rheumatism, walked more than 50 kilometers and was sleeping on the crusade ground. She came for healing and was determined not to leave until she had received it. Tonight, all the pain left her body. She was jumping! A 90-year-old woman was jumping on the platform! It was wonderful! (pictured)

A man’s hernia disappeared tonight after he suffered with it for 8 years. (pictured)

A woman whose left ear was deaf for 10 years was totally healed.

    A woman’s breast tumor vanished.

And many other wonderful miracles took place as well! Praise the Lord.

The conclusion of the Fire Conference will take place tomorrow morning. Please continue to pray for a mighty breakthrough. I am believing that the entire city will be shaken and that the field will be too small. Pray for the lost to be drawn to the meetings and for extraordinary miracles to confirm the preaching of the Gospel. Blantyre shall be saved!

  • She Felt Ice Going Through Her Body - Blantyre, Malawi - Day 1

    Dear Mission Partner,

I have just returned from the field on the first night of our Gospel Crusade here in Blantyre, Malawi. The crowd was not huge…certainly not what we experienced in Zambia a couple weeks ago, but the presence of God touched the meeting in a powerful way. I am sure that the word will spread like wildfire through the region.

After preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick we heard wonderful testimonies:

A woman with night blindness can now see. Her tumor disappeared and her kidneys were healed! Her daughter was overcome with joy as she began jumping and shouting on the platform!

A sick woman with terrible pain in her body could not stand for more than five minutes. But she said that when she stepped foot onto the crusade field, she had a sensation like ice going through her body. Suddenly, the pain was gone and she stood throughout the service without any problem for the first time in 10 years!

A paralyzed man began to walk and then his withered hand started to move!

An elderly woman who could not walk for two years testified that she could now walk, run and even dance! I put her to the test. Together we danced on the platform and the whole crowd danced and rejoiced with us!

A woman brought her son who was insane and violent toward everyone. She said he would lash out at people and even beat them. Tonight, he came to his right mind and spoke gently over the microphone declaring that Jesus Christ had made him whole!

The Fire Conference also began this morning. Peter van den Berg and I preached to the many pastors and leaders who have come to receive an impartation. This in itself is a great testimony. Many of you know that Peter van den Berg was recently diagnosed with cancer and by all accounts should not have been with us. But the Lord has touched him miraculously and not only is he doing well, he is here in Malawi preaching powerfully. We are so grateful that the Lord has preserved his life! There is still much work to be done.

Please pray earnestly for us as we continue to plow the soil here in Blantyre. Despite the challenges, I believe we will see a mighty breakthrough here. Pray for Malawi to be shaken this week.

  • Over 250,000 Hear the Gospel - Lusaka, Zambia - Day 4

The last night of our Gospel Crusade in Lusaka, Zambia, was truly amazing with the meetings being broadcast live on Radio and TV across the nation of Zambia!

Over 250,000 people attended the last meeting, the largest ever seen in Zambia and 4 times the size that the stadium next to where we having been holding the meetings, would have held!

Please do watch this special message for you, Mr, from Daniel Kolenda, just before he took to the platform to preach the gospel on this last day.

We would like to thank you for what you have made possible through your financial support and prayers.

  • Holy Chaos - Lusaka, Zambia - Day 3

    Dear Mission Partners,

Today has been a day of Holy Spirit outpouring…this morning and then again tonight. There is a tremendous hunger for God here in Lusaka, Zambia. This morning Rev. Oliver Raper and Evangelist Scott Lee delivered powerful words to the many pastors and church workers before we prayed for them. So many were powerfully touched that sometimes it looked like a battlefield. It was holy chaos!

It is worth mentioning that I have heard over and over from the local pastors how extraordinary the church participation is. One top bishop told me that in the past they had struggled just to get a couple hundred churches to work together. But for this crusade, more than one thousand churches are participating! This in itself is a miracle and a testimony to the credibility and trust that CfaN has in Africa. We pray that one of the lasting impacts of this crusade would be ongoing church unity.

Tonight, after preaching the Gospel and praying for those who wanted to receive the baptism into the Holy Spirit, we prayed for the sick and wonderful miracles happened:

    A woman’s painful fibroids vanished.

A woman totally deaf in her right ear was completely healed.

A lady’s breast tumor disappeared after prayer.

A woman who had been in a wheelchair, unable to walk at all for two years was healed.

    And many more.

Tomorrow marks the final day of this Gospel crusade. I believe the people will come from all over the region…we may not have enough space! Please continue to pray for one more huge harvest.

    Yours in the Gospel,

    Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
